Despite no longer being a part of her old village, Wintertide Frost still holds true to all the values and skills passed down through her kind. So once her babies are old enough, she works on seeing if they have any special talents that could come from their kirin side (Singing, skills in agriculture, art, etc). It turned out both Rigel and Edana had a knack for singing, so Wintertide spent time with them each day to help them perfect their voices well into their later years. The kids didn’t mind all that much, in fact they rather enjoyed getting to spend that quality time with mom.
