I’ll admit, that would be kind of awesome.

Imagine there’s an end credit scene where once the magic is back, somewhere in Equestria dark and evil beings awaken again. I mean all of them. From ancient artifacts like Alicorn amulet to villains like Chrysalis and Tirek.

The Mane 6 is gone, they will not return. If Sunny becomes an alicorn, and if it’s her in the air where the spell is released, it means that the Mane 6 must be in the “Elsewhere” as we saw in the episode “Magical Mystery Cure”, G4 S3 Episode 13. That sounds pretty cool actually. Maybe the golden wings and horn could be a temporary thing and a way to signify Twilight’s spirit being in Sunny or being there at all. Maybe the crystals could contain the spirits of Mane Six and they need the magic of friendship to be awaken and more than just being put in place. That’s a really good way to bring back the Mane Six.
