This never worked for me. Even after 200 full paper sheets of practice drawings I compared the first ones to the last ones and saw zero progress.
I’ve actually improved a lot since I started, sometimes I just judge my own stuff a bit harshly. Thanks for the advice though, I definitely agree the pony community is a great place to get started.

But i’ll start tomorrow.
The pony community is actually a good place for it, they won’t care how good you are half the time (as long as your love for ponies shows), and ponies lack most difficult anatomical bits.
It’s fantastic how much some artists improve in a short time too…Unlike my lazy self who never improves, people around me make the leap from horrible to amazing in a year or two.
And anyway you’re better than some self-proclaimed artists.
