@Background Pony Number 17
Personality wise he reminds more of Dash. Jumping straight into the action to save a child and return him to her mother, who then turned out to be just a random bystander. That’s something Dash would do, too.

G5 ponies aren’t new versions of the G4 ones, but you’re inevitably going to see traits they share. For example, Hitch may have Fluttershy’s gift with animals, but he also appears to have Applejack’s no-nonsense straightforwardness.
It’s okay to point out the similarities if you keep in mind that this is, in fact, a new generation of ponies with their own individual characters.

I kinda don’t like it when people say “X G5 pony is the new Y G4 pony.” They’re so different and drawing comparisons makes people fight, like G4 characters are being replaced specifically and they’re not individual ponies
Gotta wonder what his relationship to the animals is, like does he enjoy their company or does he think them a hindrance but can’t help them coming around?
Being a “Stickler for Rules” seems more Twilightish

You do have a point. We should still judge them for who they themselves are not just compare them to others similar.
