The 100th Episode of MLP sparked an idea for my AU, particularly when Bon Bon had revealed that she was a former agent to a monster hunting agency (that was disbanded) in Canterlot. I decided to take this agency idea and expand upon it and give it more members and aspects. Besides hunting monsters, they also study why monsters attack certain places, and even study the criminals that try and lay low and run shady businesses that are hidden to the public eye.

Fleur De Lis and Fancy Pants, two of the most elite in Canterlot, are actually apart of the same agency as well as Bon Bon (who is stationed in Ponyville)- and all three of them work behind the scenes while keeping up a “normal life” persona.

Fleur (Previously known as Moonstone Iridescence) was an ex royal investigator and guard to Celestia before quitting and going under witness protection after exposing dangerous criminals. With her new life and name and plenty of wealth, she went to search for a new job. When nothing came to her, she nearly gave up hope as she itched for her old life. And that’s when she met Fancy Pants…

Fancy was a top dog in the Canterlot elite; rich, posh, handsome, a positive go-getter; it was obvious why he was so famous among the city along with being one of the most important in founding industries and technologies. But he had a secret… something that remained hidden until Fleur uncovered it. He was investigating criminals and monsters within Canterlot, but he was having trouble. He recruited Fleur as his first agent, and they got to work quickly.

Bon Bon (Also known as Sweetie Drops) joined the small team later on down the line, starting out as a small business pony making candies- though not earning much. While she was in Canterlot, there was an attack by the notorious Bug Bear, and while everyone ran, she apprehended the beast to be thrown into Tartarus. With the agency wanting to expand their grounds, they took in this witty and strong mare as one of their own, training her before sending her out to Ponyville, where she works as a seemingly average candy shop owner.
