If they looked like how horns and wings looked in the actual movie. They can look all magically and sparkly, (though maybe die it down later, it makes her design far to bright) while not making them see through.

Yeah that’s pretty much what I was thinking.
That hinges on the origin of the problem, for me at least.
That, and Sunny arguably earned it for her quest in bringing both ponykind back together, and bringing back magic. It’s certainly better than just finishing a spell, eh?

This shouldn’t be nearly as controversial though? Because this was clearly supposed to happen, it happened right away in the series, not like the character was well-established any other way.
Likewise, which is a good thing in my books…until I’m reminded of how Sci-Twi was the same and not Sunset Shimmer, which still annoys me somewhat.
