I’m really curious about this… Is it just artistic representation of the unicorns, pegasi and earth ponies getting the crystals, or were these actually ponies picked by Twilight to watch over their respective crystal?

in the credits maybe
Instead they switched places, with her doing his scheduled script for “The Lost Treasure of Griffonstone” [S1E08] since it required more time anyways to develop all the aditional griffon puppets & specific Flash assets.
He had less than 2 weeks to “do the research” on the “famous” background ponies (by rewatching many episodes) & to think how to include some of the fandom references [going by the notes of Rogers].
-> The director Jim Miller and/or the “animatics supervisor” removed some scenes with any ideas that were already rejected previously (extending other scenes to complete the runtime, like the one of Vinyl & Octavia making a song); since Larson had no prior knowledge of this “conversations” with the HASBRO´s liasons (handled previously by Faust, Rogers & Rob Renzetti].

-> Just like Princess Luna herself looked like Nightmare Moon near the end of that same episode.
-> Flutterbat did not had an unique, distinct “type” of magic like the other “pony races”; but rather her ability to “corrupt” apple trees was a combination/fusion of the “pegasi” weather_magic (flying/cloud_walking) & the “vampire” hunger (lifeforce_draining); similar to how “alicorn magic” is made from 3 (¿4?) types of pony magic (rather than being its own distinctive “thing”).

What of the Bat ponies? Or are you only counting the confirmed “pony” races?
Yes, except twi’s cm has 12 points not 9.

While that would make perfect sense, I followed the patterned they had and it seems….almost incomplete. It could only be me, but this seems to make me think that there is something we are missing.
If you put the crystals on top of each other, the sparkles almost looks like Twilight’s CM
it’ll be lucky if they go with 5.
I’m pretty sure there will be but planning that far is unnecessary. I predict 4-8 seasons depending on its success.
I wonder if there’s gonna be more than 2 seasons in the future

Actually it was confirmed in one of there presentation articles that the G5 movie takes place in a different region of Equestria not explored in G4.
A bigger question to me is why does Sunny’s father have so much information and so many artifacts dating back to G4’s time which at this point is ancient history most of the pony population is oblivious too. HE HAS ONE OF TWILIGHT’S FEATHERS and that’s just crazy!
We have a Netflix Special and 2 seasons with 26 episodes a piece on the way to find out.
According to a Russian licensing expo from 2019 but becuase of the pan D plans could have changed.
2021 - Theatrical Movie[Now Netflix]
2022 First Half - 44 minute Netflix Special
2022 Second Half - Season 1 [1-13 Episodes]
2023 First Half - Season 1 [14-26]
2023 Second Half - Season 2 [1-13]
2024 First Half - Season 2 [14-26]
Yea there going full throttle this Generation with the plans. G4s success caught them off guard years back but they’ve gotten serious this go around.😅
it’s possible! o3o
@isrrael120
Idk, maybe the mane 6 put some part of themselves in those very crystal, so that someone may find a way to use them to maintain peace long after they’re gone.
Well that may be a possibility but there is still the question of why those three crystals were created!
yeah but why? what happened in the past that made her want to contain all pony magic in 3 crystals?
it’s a possibility that twilight and other mane 6 might’ve made them
