You are really reaching to try to distance this from the T man.
There’s also Pink Floyd The Wall, so … not all walls are Trumpian walls. Or maybe they were talking about the Canadian wall to keep out Americans? Or the wall that resulted in Ireland as a result of The Troubles? I mean - this was not an entirely US product. That said, there’s a lot going on in the movie that really could be taken as a direct reference to The Troubles in the US.

No, all she wanted is protect others. Starting a war is not “protection”.
I think I’m just very tired of seeing government politics mix with racism. I watch cartoons to avoid these things, not delve deeper in to the subject.

The phrase “childish absurdity” no longer has any practical meaning in a world where the phrase “Former President Trump still disputes election results” also exists.
That was a great twist in my opinion. I thought she was going to be the one pulling his strings all along, but turns out even she realized she’d created a monster. The people’s protector, telling everypony to be afraid and to not think rationally, turning into a communist dictator was a not-too-subtle parallel for every time censoring bad people has backfired in our world.
