This was such a wonderful moment. It’s a shame Hitch’s arc got cut so short. Would’ve been nice to see him have more second-thoughts and truly display an inner conflict as his journey progressed, ultimately deciding that his foalhood friend’s ideals align with the spirit of the law better than the letter of the law does, and that everypony is better served by its pursuit, resulting in him bringing all his conviction and then some to her quest after that point.
