Counterpoint number four. I didn’t see any magic forcing you to buy that amulet. I didn’t see any magic pushing you towards revenge. Corrupting though that artifact may have been, you are still responsible for every step of the process that lead to donning it, and I will blame you for both that and the non-apology you offered for your actions after Twilight again saved you.

You’re still responsible for the actions which you took which led you to the acquisition and donning the Alicorn Amulet. You should also be responsible for the consequences of the Alicorn Amulet, given that you premeditated actions which would lead to the Alicorn Amulet entering into your possession and you further premeditated the actions which led to the donning of the Alicorn Amulet. You may not have known the consequences which would occur from donning the Alicorn Amulet, but it does not revoke the fact that you sought an artifact which would increase your magical potency and took action to acquire the artifact and then subsequently use said artifact for your own goals.
