It’s going to be a really rare sight to see a fan made G5 game. Hell, even a complete one. I assume Hasbro’s C&D thing is still strong like it was so many years ago. Plus, it was easy for G4 fan games to be created because it was 2D. Now that the normal standard for G5 is 3D, not much games are going to see the light of day.

I actually don’t expect for fan projects like this to pan out well anymore. On the one hand real life always gets in the way, on the other Hasbro likes to throw C&Ds all over the place. A lot of MLP fan projects all turn out cancelled either because the people working on it eventually get too busy, or because of money restraint. It’s a miracle any gets finished at all. A sad reality but it’s still reality.

Yeah, it was abandoned due to lack of staff or something along those words. It was being developed all the way till 2019, which is ironic because the show ended that year. Incredibly slow development.
I believe had it not been stopped and worked on more quickly, I think today there would be loads of cases to play with. As for voice acting, I’m not sure if that would have turned out well because so many of them have retired, moved on, or simply quitted doing it. Today there are hardly any fan VAs to work with. There are today however AI voices, which could substitute them.

I played this myself and it was actually pretty hard, or maybe I’m just dumb lol
Too bad it’s cancelled. It’s actually a really good version of pony Ace Attorney and the voice acting is great. :D
