So let’s pretend I never made that previous NG for Zephyr Breeze. I’m actually retconning a lot of characters right now but because I just didn’t care for them. Also I said there’re no villains in the El-Romverse, there are still antagonistic characters. Case in point:
Tuff Puff
Tuffie, Puffie, Problem Child
Parents: Zephyr Breeze and Strawberry Sunrise
Voice: Sounds like Peggy from Lady And The Tramp [yes, she was also the inspiration for Tuff’s physical design]

Aptly named “The Problem Child” by most of the adults in her life, Tuff Puff a rebellious kid with nothing better to do then be a minor annoyance or major antagonist to most anyone she runs into. In school, she’s one of the few kids that smokes and does drugs. She treats this and her physical appearance as a personality trait. She’s overall a very troubled teen but she uses violence and her quick wit to cover up her various issues.
She’s always struggled academically and was branded pretty early as a defiant and rude kid. In truth, she’s mildly dyslexic and struggles with ADHD. She comes off as unbothered and she sort of is. Since others expect her to fail she doesn’t even try. Instead, focussing her attention on her popularity status.

Her relationship with her parents is odd. On the surface they seem like a functional family. They live in the centre of Ponyville in a nice home. They have a dog and both parents are well known. Papa Zephyr being the town hairdresser and Strawberry being basically an HR manager for Filthy Rich’s various grocery stores. However under the surface there is a lot of dysfunction. Strawberry is both a workaholic and an alcoholic but she refuses to acknowledge these things or accept help. She either ignores Tuffie outright or she spoils her by giving excessive affection and gifts. She thinks Tuffie is the perfect kid and refuses to accept that her precious girl is struggling and spiralling. Then again, she tend to be just as delusional with her own failing marriage. And then there’s Tuff father Zephyr who seems too busy openly cheating on his wife. Neither parents acknowledges the infidelity but both are wildly aware of Zephs actions. Strawberry is unfortunately in deep denial about a lot of aspects of her life and she sorta lets Tuffie shoulder most of the emotional responsibility of her parent’s dysfunction.
While Tuff is trying to keep her parents together mostly by giving her father the silent treatment and glaring at him or picking up after one of her mother’s “bad nights” her experiences have made her a cruel and calculating person at school. She does not value friendship or relationship and merely uses people until she gets bored.
