Sometimes, even a stallion as large and as athletic as Heartstrong Flare needs some time to relax and escape the bustling and activity of both training and teaching the many service-stallions and mares elements of Equestria’s public works and civil defense departments. All that explanation and learning can be draining on such a hunk, stressing out even the more work and labor oriented elements of himself. With such stresses, he decides to check out for the time being, snatch a good pulp story or two and bolt as fast as his wings can take him off to a nearby cloud on the far reaches of the sky besides the city of Cloudsdale from Canterlot.
