“And now Novo is a pony! There is an old piece of fanart of a ponified Novo, but I wanted to do my own take. She would probably be around Cadence and Miss Fleur’s height, since naturally hippogriffs are very tall, plus I don’t think we’ve really gotten too many tall pegasi in the series. Her Cutie Mark is of a shell with a pearl inside as a little nod to her Pearl, and she has fetlocks to better remind of her hippogriff form.
I remember there was an official comic where Celestia disguises herself as an average pony, and I would like to think Novo would try something similar to better fit in and hear what the ponies think about the hippogriffs. Her pony name is something I’m still trying to think of. I thought about Nova Pearl, but that felt a little too on the nose. If there’s any good name for her, I’m defiantly open to suggestions!”
