Eh, it still fits. If there are people in real life that actually believe Thanos is right, there will be people in-universe that think the same. Just because it actually happened in their world doesn’t mean everyone would be anti-Thanos. You have no idea how many people have such cynical views and even side with some of the worst people on Earth because of their beliefs. The world is pretty big after all.

Ah, now I remember where that came from. That was such a quick scene from the first episode that it is easy to forget. Then again, it was also a scene that only vaguely fits into the MCU because there isn’t any reason anyone would think that a violent murderer who killed off half of all life in the entire universe was ‘right’.
