Versus XIII was announced in 2006 alongside XIII, and has been in development since 2005. We didn’t see any actual gameplay footage until 2011, and since then virtually nothing about the game has been shown. The only confirmation that it’s still in development was a tweet from the Square-Enix CEO in 2012.
I think most of the fanbase already has. XD

Really? Cuz if the company cannot focus on more than one game at a time, they’re either in serious financial trouble or FF13VS is going to be fucking Legendary. It IS odd that they’re devoting so many resources to one game, though; what if it flops
Let’s hope that KH3 doesn’t disappoint like Forever did. XD
Actually, Kingdom Hearts 3D is supposed to be a lead-in to Kingdom Hearts III, and KH3 is supposed to be the next in the series, not counting the upcoming HD-rereleases or the Kingdom Hearts χ webgame.
The biggest thing preventing it from happening is that the Kingdom Hearts team is currently busy with Final Fantasy Versus XIII.
I was thinking the same thing, but then again Duke Nuken Forever DID finally come out; so it’s importent to not lose hope for Kingdom Hearts III
Actually Nomura said KH3D is sort of part 1 of KH3 so it might not be that far away.
