Harvest is a living angel…in the sense that he doesn’t really do anything that defies his mother’s wishes. He doesn’t like defying his mother’s conservative values too much. He wants to go off to the city and make it big being a country guitarist and meet the man of his dreams but his mother wants him to stay and help with the farm. He doesn’t hate farm life but he craves something more. He loves singing with his Uncle Mac and his mother’s friend Fluttershy in the Pony Tones, he tells his mother Cheerilee that it’s good enough but deep down she knows he’ll leave some day.
