Hello everyone,

it is a huge honour for me to say that this drawing not only is a Commission for the amazing foxpaw, but also means a lot to me personally. Everyone who has been around for a while knows who this mare is and what her story is. This is Chess, the pegasus mare who made the main protagonist of my old Comic “What Have I Done?” that I started in 2013/2014 and finished in 2019.

Chess has accompanied me through a long time during school and work when I drew the black and white comic pages back then. With her, not only my art skills and abilities grew, but also the number of people knowing and supporting me. Both of us grew a lot throughout the years as I always made her somewhat my age when I made the comic and here we are now, about the same age in our early 20’s. Seeing this girl getting recognition and love even after all these years warms my heart and makes me incredibly happy and proud. Chess made it into people’s hearts and that means the world to me.

I enjoyed working on this drawing during my recent Art Stream and we managed to finish this illustration during a very emotional session that I can’t even begin to describe. It was… beyond me, it was out of this world, it was extremely beautiful and I will always be grateful. Speaking of grateful, I am grateful for the lovely Commissioner, who made all of this possible - asking me to draw one of my favourite OC’s with my favourite tools, brushmarkers. I am so happy and very proud of the result. I hope you like it too, maybe even recognized her. I would love to hear your thoughts about this drawing^^
