Opinions. LPS is at best decent. Sometimes it does well, mainly when it’s “inspired” by FiM and sometimes it’s bad, i.e. when it is just like any other show starring a bunch of talking animals.

The Hub would like you to believe that. LPS has its moments, but it is really held back by its setting. As I’ve said before, if things get boring in Ponyville they can always just call in a demon from Tartarus or something. That and the human characters are probably intentionally written to be dull in order for you to focus on the pets, yet half of all of the episodes are about them.
 
They also have had several episodes that were “homages” to FiM episodes.
 
Another thing: You know how Pinkie Pie isn’t just a walking ball of fun? You know how she actually cares about her friends and can take things seriously sometimes?

Haven’t seen Dan Vs. yet (but do want to) and also Pound Puppies is nice. Not amazingly great but it’s pretty good.
