Remember the Rainbowverse? Well i haven’t done much with it at all so i wanted to kick it off with redesigning the mane six and spike! And boy did these take long ;w;

I changed up the ships a bit to. Idk i just can’t see these ponies with some of the characters I shipped them with before.

I guess this will be kind of like a blend of the Blissverse too aaa

Jacqueline Smith
aka Apple Jack or AJ

Apple Jack was second born to Pear Butter and Bright Smith, more known as Bright Mac. After they had their last baby, Pear Butter grew ill with Appleblight. It was a strange illness, commonly found in trees. But Pear was extremely sick and Bright Mac couldn’t stand to see her struggle. He left their children with his mother so her could travel to the far ends of Equestria to find the cure. Unfortunately, Pear
succumbed to her illness, and passes away before Bright came back. He was devastated by her death. Bright Mac loved her more than anything. She was there for him when he was weak, and he couldn’t save her. Less than a month later, he took his own life from the depression and thoughts that it was his fault for her death.

Apple Jack and her siblings were heartbroken by both of their parent’s deaths. They were raised by their grandmother, and as the years went on, Apple Jack slowly began to develop PTSD and OCD from the traumatic events. She had a hard time with relationships with others because she didn’t want them leaving her, like her parents did. She was often obsessed with them, to the point where they would break up or purposely find the time to be away from her. This lead to mental breakdowns. (Just to clarify, not all mental breakdowns are the same! You might have a picture in your mind of her crying alone and hurting herself, but that’s not how AJ’s mental breakdowns are like. She gets very irritable, doesn’t take care of her personal hygiene, slacks off on work, and stop socializing with her friends.) They can last for a few days or even a month.

But when she’s living her best life, she’s taking care of the farm, hanging with her friends, cracking jokes, and trying to be the best pony despite her past.

Rainbow Dash

Rainbow Dash was born to Windy Whistles and Rainbow (Bow) HotHoof. As any other little pegasus raised in Cloudsdale, there was nothing more she wanted then being a wonderbolt when she grew up. It was her dream. She worked on her flying everyday afterschool and pretty much any free time she had went to flying practice. Like in the show, eventually her dreams did become true, and she became the youngest wonderbolt.

A completely unexpected event made her have to give up her spot on the bolts. She was flying through Ghastly Gorge, when a large red serpent creature lunged at her from it’s hole in the rocks. She was caught off guard, and made a quick move to doge it’s attack. Although she was fast, it bit through her wing bone, and the force of it’s bite ripped it off her shoulders, flinging her to the rocked below. She lost a ton of blood that day, but luckily Apple Jack found her bleeding on the ground and rushed her to the hospital, saving her life.

She stayed with her until her wounds were healed. Her physical wounds. After the loss of her wing, she felt completely hopeless of her life. What was she supposed to do? She couldn’t make a living out of flying, since the wonderbolts didn’t allow prosthetics wings anymore due to past accidents.

Apple Jack made sure Rainbow Dash didn’t do anything she’d regret, and had a magical spell cast on her again to let her stay in RD’s house. After months, they slowly grew closer, then officially dating and then they got married a few years later.

Penelope Diane Pie

Aka Pinkie Pie

Pinkie Pie was born Penelope Diane to Cloudy Quartz and Igneous Rock. She’s twins with Martha (Marble) Pie, and is three minutes older. She didn’t have the best relationship with her parents. They had strict rules, and if she broke them, she’d get physical punishment followed by seclusion from her sisters. Her sisters always told her behave, or this wouldn’t happen to her. Marble never spoke, becuase she was afraid if she did, she’s get the same treatment Pinkie got. Maud was favored by Igneous, so she never got physical punishment if she misbehaved. Pinkie did’t blame her for it, and never was jealous of Maud. Limestone was older than her younger sisters, and to be honest, she was worse. She knew her parent’s rules and punishments were horrible, but she thought it was best for them to know how this rock farm was. She was emotionally abusive to Pinkie Pie and Marble, mostly to Pinkie Pie, because she saw a little filly who was trying to be happy. She saw a filly who would grow up to be someone special in Equestria, and Limestone would be nothing but a rock farmer.

Pinkie finnally got the courage to run from her abused parents and sister. She told her plan to Maud and Marble, and said they should come with her. Marble was too scared to talk, and even more scared to run away. Maud said she would stay with Marble, to make sure she was safe. “I’ll leave when the time is right.” Pinkie remembered her say.

Pinkie ran away when she was 15 and found herself in Ponyville. and stumbled upon Sugar Cube corner, and the Cakes were more then happy to let her stay. They taught her how to bake and sang her songs. She felt at home with them, and felt like they were her true parents in some way.

When she was 19, Pinkie went back to the Rock Farm. Her parents were surprisingly happy to see her home. Pinkie put on a mask for them. She was happy to see them too, but deep down, she never regretted leaving. Maud and Marble were happy to see her too. Limestone let Pinkie hug her, but didn’t show any affection.

She went back to Ponyville, and fast forward after meeting the loves of her life Cheese and Star Sky, they all got married and had four kids of her own, two of which were twins. Pinkie treated them with love and care, as she wished her true parents did.

Rarity Belle

Rarity was born Rainshine Belle to Cooke Crumble and Honda Flanks. She suffered from gender dysphoria at the age of 11 through 17, and was picked on by the other foals for “being a boy who wanted to be a girl.” Besides the bullying, Rarity had a supportive family, and a sister who was her number one fan. Whatever she chose in life, they’d respect her wishes and be there for her. She started going by Rarity and using she/her pronouns when she was 15. Later when she was 18, she transitioned and went through medical procedures.

She’s always wanted to become a fashion designer, model, and much more along those lines. When she was 19, she was offered a scholarship to a fine school for gifted arts, where she could pursue her career, and learn from the best.

After the events of the Storm King, Rarity and Capper dated and got engaged together, thus marring then starting a family.

Fluttershy

Fluttershy was first born to Flower Shy and Swift Cloud, (aka Mr. and Mrs. Shy!). She was born with physical disabilities, similar to Scootaloo. Her wings never fully developed, and was born with out a back leg. Despite this, she attended flight school with her friend Rainbow Dash, before she and her family realized her wings would never grow or be powerful enough to lift her. During flight school, she was bullied and called “Flutterstub” and worst of all “Cr!ppledshy” by older bullies.

The day of the Rainboom Race, Fluttershy found her calling on the ground with animals. Although, her taming abilities didn’t come for her that easily, and she did end up getting most of her scars from untamed animals. Still, she loved animals and wildlife, and never wanted to leave.

She soon became close friends with Discord, the Lord of Chaos, and slowly he told her his feelings, and they married and had one child.

Twilight Sparkle

Twilight Sparkle was second born Twilight Velvet and Nightlight. She’s always had a huge love with books, and often stayed up late nights finishing a chapter of a story. When she was 12, she wanted to go to school for gifted unicorns. She needed to take a test, and she passed, along with getting a strong connection to her soon to be best friends.

After becoming the pupil of the Princess of the Sun, she took her studies to the next level, and often burnt herself out without even realizing it. Though her fateful younger sibling told her to take a break every now and then, she didn’t listen. She was obsessed with pleasing the princess and keeping everything organized and making sure nothing was wrong. She triple checked things, then triple checked those tripled checked things, and payed close attention to things that didn’t even need close attention. She isolated herself from her friends, even Spike. All she listened to was the voices in her head telling her to be careful about everything, never let your guard down, and MOST IMPORTANTLY: please Princes Celestia.

After months of this, she finally broke. It took her at least several months to feel completely better. The Princess advised her to move to ponyville, where things were more suitable for her. Fast forward from the element of harmony and all that stuff, Twilight felt at home in Ponyville, and there she knew everything was going to be fine, wether she checked them or not.

Spike Sparkle

Spike was born with the magical assistance of Twilight Sparkle. She raised him, and he saw her as an older sister. The two have been together all his life, and Twilight is often worry to let him go off into the world on his own as an adult.

Spike’s real mother (in the moccaverse too) is Scales. Gaius gave her egg to Princess Celestia when Scales was teaching they young dragons
to hate friendship, and soon take over the whole Equestria. Celestia used a magical spell on Spike’s egg to freeze it’s hatching time, until she saw Twilight Sparkle would be the perfect care giver for him.

When Spike meets Gabby, it’s like their soul mates. As they get older, they date. Twilight’s constantly asking how his relationship is going. He assures her everything is fine, which it turns out to be.

well it was worth it. I’m planning on doing a lot more with the Rainbowverse soon! Can’t wait to make some next gens!
