Nah, you’re equating healthy love with all love. As I said, what she feels is no doubt dark and dangerous, but it’s love, of a sort.
Actual love is understanding bounties and not making those you love suffer needlessly. If Pinkamena actually loved Chop, she would help him find someone who wouldn’t abuse him for her sick kicks. Love involves some self sacrifice for a net gain. Love has ups and downs, where this relationship is just downs. This isn’t love, it’s stockholm syndrome with an abuser.
Love can be dark, and jealous, and insidiously cruel. It can also be healthy and joyous. It’s a spectrum of possibilities.
I question your idea of love in that case.
She’s not just abusive. She’s also possessive, and loving in a warped way.
