Luna’s have a colonial marine armour with ’nam-era weaponry.
yes, the idea was that unlike the Zebras, Equestria didn’t have much in the way of guns, but the griffions did. So the eirly guns used were simply griffion guns converted to pony usable guns. This was either as simply changing out the trigger and guard for something bigger, or a mouth bit trigger.
Are you trying to say that old equestrian army was relying on griffon weapons?

bit more is described here, but in essence Celestia was in charge at the start of the war, and she favored precision and skill, along with avoiding needless violence. Luna took over the war much later, where the war took a turn for the worse and the old ideals had diminished greatly, favoring more brutal fighting. In Fo:E the war lasted 20 years before the ponies and zebra’s started nuking each other, so there was a lot of time for the technology to change rapidly.
Care to try to explain it to me? I’m used to the fandom trying way too hard to make Celestia look conservative and old fashion while Luna progressive, even though the show tells a very different story.
there’s lore with it, being Fallout Equestria. the difference in weapons is more about the timeline.
