It was a bright and sunny day at Fluttershy’s Cottage. Fluttershy was home alone, busy feeding her animals. She fed her birds, gerbils, and even her cute little mice.
Fluttershy: Everyone have enough food?
The animals nod as Fluttershy smiles and wiggles her toes. Fluttershy loved being home alone, mostly because she hated wearing her boots all the time, she’d much rather be barefoot instead.
Just then, Harry the bear approaches Fluttershy and holds out an empty jar.
Fluttershy: Oh my! You’re out of honey again, aren’t you?
Harry the bear nods in silence.
Fluttershy: Well don’t worry, I’ll get you some more.
Fluttershy take the jar from Harry the bear and walks outside of her Cottage. Fluttershy walks a little bit away from her Cottage looking for a nearby beehive. She loved the feeling of grass under her feet.
After a few minutes of walking, Fluttershy spots a rather large beehive and approaches it. What poor Fluttershy doesn’t know, is that a large puddle of very sticky honey has formed right underneath the beehive!
Fluttershy: (softly) Excuse me. But would you mind if I got some of your honey for a friend of mine?
The bees buzz in agreement.
Fluttershy: Why thank you, you’re too kind.
As Fluttershy steps forward to retrieve the honey, her bare feet makes contact with the sticky puddle of honey. Fluttershy places the jar directly underneath the large beehive and collects the dripping honey.
Fluttershy: Thank you, my little friends, for your generosity.
The bees buzz and head back into their home sweet home.
Fluttershy looks at the jar of honey
Fluttershy: (giggles) I better get this back to Harry, before he starts to get hungry.
As Fluttershy tries to leave, it feels as though her bare feet refuse to move and she almost loses her balance.
Fluttershy: Whoa! That’s weird… why can’t I move my feet?
She looks down and notices that she has accidentally stepped in a large expanding puddle of sticky honey! Fluttershy tries to lift her foot, but a long yellow stand of honey yanks her foot back down
Fluttershy: Oh no. I’m… I’m stuck!
She tries to lift her other foot, but the same thing happens. It is then that Fluttershy begins to panic. Fluttershy drops the jar of honey, grabs her thigh and immediately begins pulling with all her might. The honey stretches, only letting Fluttershy’s foot get about 6 inches off the ground, before yanking her foot back down.
Fluttershy grabs her other thigh and pulls.
Fluttershy: I never knew honey could be this sticky…
She frantically shakes her foot, trying her best to snap the sticky strand. Unfortunately, Fluttershy’s foot is quickly yanked back down again.
Fluttershy: Mmmpphh!!!
She tries jumping, but the sticky honey pulls her back down instantly.
Fluttershy: Ooooh, I have no idea how I’m gonna get out of this…
Meanwhile back at Fluttershy’s Cottage, Harry the bear waits patiently for Fluttershy. Soon Angel bunny appears and holds up a picture of Fluttershy with a question mark written on it.
Harry the bear shrugs.
Just then, all the animals point outside the door. Harry the bear quickly runs out of Fluttershy’s Cottage, in hopes of finding Fluttershy.
Fluttershy: Maybe if I try…
Fluttershy tries to lift her foot again, but the sticky honey stretches and yanks her foot back down yet again. She wipes a strand of hair out of her face and continues to tug at her trapped feet. As Fluttershy tries to constantly lift her bare feet from the sticky honey, it keeps a firm grip on her feet, not allowing her foot to get more than an inch off the ground, unlike before. Poor Fluttershy struggles for almost a half hour, trying to free her bare feet from their sticky prison, but to no avail.
Suddenly, after a few more minute of struggling, Fluttershy’s feet refuse to lift up at all! Now becoming fused to
the ground. Fluttershy tries to wiggle her toes, but due to the honey being too extremely sticky, they barely move at all. Her eyes slowly begin to tear up, thinking that she’ll never get free now.

Just then, Fluttershy spots Harry the bear in the distance running straight towards her!
Fluttershy: (shouts) Harry!?! Harry!!!
Harry the bear runs up and hugs Fluttershy, not aware that she’s completely stuck.
Fluttershy: Oh Harry… I’m so sorry I haven’t returned with your honey… But you see.
Harry backs up and examines Fluttershy’s predicament. She grabs her thigh and pulls as hard as she can, trying to lift her foot above the ground, but a long yellow strand quickly yanks her foot back down with a slap,
Fluttershy: I accidentally stepped in honey… And my feet are completely stuck. (twists and turns) And… I can’t get free!
Harry the bear takes Fluttershy’s arms and pulls with all his might. Normally it would be easy for Harry the bear to pull Fluttershy right out of the sticky honey, but since Fluttershy has been standing in it for the past half hour,
the honey has completely set around Fluttershy’s bare feet making it a lot harder to remove. As Harry pulls, Fluttershy’s bare feet begins to lift off the ground, causing the honey to stretch immensely, leaving a long yellow strand nearly 12 inches long!

Suddenly, the long strand snaps, sending Fluttershy flying into Harry.
Fluttershy: Oops sorry.
She climbs off of Harry and sits down.
Fluttershy: Thank you Harry, I thought I was gonna be stuck there forever.
Harry smiles and begins licking the honey off of Fluttershy’s feet.
Fluttershy: (laughs) Harry… St… Stop it! That tickles!
After Harry is finished cleaning Fluttershy’s feet, he walks over to the beehive and begins eating away.
Fluttershy stands to her feet and wiggles her toes.
Fluttershy: I’ll be much more careful whenever I’m barefoot from now on.
