Alright, you might be asking yourself “what the heck am I looking at here?” This is a selected screenshot to get the word out there, solely based on a old FPS video game that is considered abandonware. The game is called Strife: The Quest for the Sigil. It was DooM styled FPS RPG that was unfortunately overshadowed by the release of Quake in it’s time. While playing this game all the way through, I spotted many similarities with the setting and My Little Pony itself. Things such as architecture and building layout for one. I’ve constructed the fic to be a CYOA (Choose your own adventure), so that the reader would get a sense of Strife’s plot without playing the game itself. Call this self promotion? Sure, but the entire goal of the fic was to spread awareness of a classic gem. Go ahead and check it out, but be aware I’m still revising it in the process.
