Except for the “they were pretty” all the rest is correct

Throughout the comic it’s seemed clear to me that they want to be female, but have issues with it.

Based on:
Post 2632025 where Purple shows anxiety/fear of rejection over it
Post 2657958 where Purple smiles at the thought of being a girl.
Post 2660499 where Purple lashes out emotionally at their own negative internal dialogue, cutting their mane, while Aqua Lux and Warm Focus try to talk them out of the hasty decision, likely because Purple will regret it later.
Post 2661757 Purple’s unfinished line feels like it may have almost a been pained admission of “They were pretty…” (I am possibly reading into that one a bit)
Post 2783448 where the spell to turn Purple back is mentioned. Purple looks terrified.
Post 2784648 where we’re reminded that Purple is afraid of anyone knowing.
Post 2788150 where Purple’s anxiety over it drives them to say yes to the spell, much to Warm Focus and Aqua Lux’s horror. As far as I can tell, they’re representations of Purple’s psyche.

Throughout the story it’s seemed to be a consistent theme that Purple seems happy as a mare, but is afraid of others knowing, fearing they would be mistreated or bullied by their friends and others. Happy as a mare, terrified of going back, scared of what would happen if others knew how they really felt.

Perhaps what we’re seeing unfold is Purple’s inner struggle over who and what they want to be versus their fears.

However I’ll also mention that’s just my educated guess based on my observations, I could be wrong! But either way it seems clear to me that it’s a very difficult topic for Purple.

@AlexDTI is the artist so it’s their call whether or not I’m correct. And thank you so much to them, because I’ve been really loving this comic and actively looking forward to each new page ^^

I know that, I’m writing the comic

I’m pretty sure that’s the opposite. Remember that he and the other two were humans and wound up in Equestria in the beginning of the comic, and he was the only one who got turned into a female when he got there.

If you rush him the story won’t be as good.
