Ganondorf has stair in ganon tower (Ocarina of Time), no difference from sombra stair, except it is smaller for the gameplay’s sake.

@SeraphimDawn Maybe it’s because some of my own characters are like this, but lately I keep noticing more and more expies of Ganondorf in other media. Gades from Lufia, Zangurak/Zangurg from The Last Story, King Beld from Record of Lodoss War….What seems to make Ganondorf so appealing as to reinvent him into other stories?
 
@thps48 Not that I know of, but then, what would Ganon in FiM even LOOK like? A Moblin? A giant, demon boar?
 
Also, the idea of Ganondorf as an EARTH pony just fits really, really well. The fact that he can apparently use dark magic just adds that extra something to him, I think.

Well, except for that one time he got ressurcected bad. I forget which game it was, but it dosen’t really count since he was insane as a result of coming back from his defeat through a botched ritual. Just thought it was worth mentioning.

He has the same intelligence in all his forms. Ganon just shortened his name over time.

Ganondorf translates to pony easier. He has a normal human, thus a normal pony, body and has human intelligence and motives, making facial expressions easy.
 
Ganon is much more monstrous and less intelligent, when he’s not a mindless monster. Much hard to ponify I imagine
