Yeah ever since the first episode in Tell your Tale season 2 came out and with the Mane 6 planning on helping redeeming Allura, All I can think of is “what would Happen” if Owen lars from the Obi-Wan Series came out of nowhere and calls sunny out all Because She never gave Opaline a Second chance.
In all seriousness I do think Opaline should of been written better as there are times I do feel a little bit bad for her, Hints why I made a “What if Opaline Survives” theory and all (I know the title was misread as Opaline is still alive Just trap in her own Tree Powerless, But can’t come up with something simple as it would feel a bit to long).
Also Another May the 4th Special for today and Hope you liked this one XD.

Allura assaulted dozens of ponies and enslaved them with mind control for an indeterminate amount of time (long enough for Violet Frost’s grip on reality to slip).
They’re both not good people, and a bad person that has a friend…is a bad person with a friend. Allura was worse than a bully and her suffering right now in tyt is well-deserved.

Honestly, Allura doesn’t deserve a second chance either. I don’t care if she’s nice to Twitch, she brainwashed an entire village of Auroricorns without their consent and forced them to be her slaves, more or less.
But the fandom will be fine with Allura’s redemption, even though what she did was heinous.
Tyt will sweep the brainwashing under the rug and all will be forgiven, or the blame will be shifted onto her brother somehow so Allura won’t have to take responsibility for what she did.

Well to be fair, Opaline was a damn abusive, power hungry b**** who manipulated Misty and tried to kill Sparky.

Fan of both G4 and G5
Both Sunny and Misty tried to reach out to Opaline and offered her friendship, she rejected their efforts both times and threw it back in their faces. An “Opaline survives and gets redeemed” could of been interesting if well written, but in the end her final fate was her own doing.

People forget but Opaline had a second chance at the end of chapter 4, but the real reason she got stuck in the tree was because Spike didn’t want to save her
