WOD/Chaosverse- King Sombra SOAE
“All hail your true king!”
I won’t put too much in his bio as most will be revealed in Shadow of an Empire. But I will explain more on the Umbrums here.
King Sombra:
-Last conscious Umbrum
-Only alicorn Umbrum
-Hermaphrodite but goes by male pronouns
Umbrums are an ancient cross between black traditional unicorns and dragons. They have curved horns and sharp canines for eating crystals and gems. Since they aren’t full pony they don’t get cutiemarks. When they are conscious they have pony-like bodies and can interact with the world around them. However when they are unconscious they are just shadows and they can see everything going on but don’t age or interact with anything. It takes very strong magic to awaken one and they take the body of whoever awoke them. Another signature feature is the mist around their eyes. Their eyes are very sensitive to light and the mist helps protect their eyes.
When the empire rose again King Sombra attacked. He was still defeated by Twilight and Cadence but instead he remained hidden in the north until he could strike again. Upon Discord’s attack he hid inside the empire as the crystal wall rose. It was there he met Queen Chrysalis and they struck a deal to take over the defenseless empire.
