Thank you for reminding her of that, Jackie. I know you never gave Twilight an ‘I told you so’ for not listening to her advice, but I’m glad you’re also not letting that go.
That said, they still didn’t give Pinkie the truth as it needed to be. They discussed why Pinkie’s bizarre and almost purposefully inconvenient times for playing the yovidaphone were a problem, and yet all they ended up telling her was ‘you’ll never be good at it, so stop’. To me, it feels similar to why they opted to go with the Mare Do Well ploy instead of just talking with Rainbow Dash about her bragging, like they didn’t trust her to understand.
