The End wasn't The End - Found a new home after the great exodus of 2012

The “New Lunar Republic” was started back in the Season 1 era, which was filled with “poor crying Luna” and “Tyrantlestia” art. Somehow, despite Season 2’s clearing up Luna’s personality, this stuff still goes on.

I was always bothered by this lunar republic thing.  
Luna is a former villain that tried to overthrone Celestia and turn Equestria into an ice desert, and she give much more monarchic vibes than her sister.
