We’re calling these things “unicoons”, right?
Izzy’s magic was purple in A New Generation, so maybe it’s just more evidence that magic color is like background music in it only exists for audience benefit as opposed to actually existing in-universe. (We know it generates light but in all the 10+ years have they mentioned specific colors in-work?)
1648 after the founding of Equestria in year one. The Earthling calender may not be relevant. It might apply to the Tatooine calendar though. :D
Okay, now this is turning dark.
Can we edit this into the Wikipedia for 1648?
Maybe they were related to the Coons that Rarity hired, and lived amongst the ponies for generations. Maybe during the pony apocalypse the coons ate unicorn flesh and wore the horns as trophies and absorbed some of their magical “uni”-genes.
Man, magical evolution is weird.
When/how did ponies get horns and wings? Maybe the same thing happened to them between series.
