I’m gonna be honest I can’t really explain this one; it’s kind of an in-joke. The person who owns this pony complains about ‘mech layouts whenever she gets a chance so I thought it’d be funny to show her as a disgruntled mechanic!! Still very cute though. n_n
Does make no sense. But even with single heat sinks it runs pretty cool. Only with the jumping and firing the laser and RAC-5 at full does it really create too much heat.

The mech in question I was complaining about is the Cuirass, which is a 3075 design. With… 7 jump jets, a RAC-5, an ER Medium laser, and a sword. And 10 single heat sinks. It is… the dumbest thing on the planet and my brothers in Kerensky when you have access to the tech why are you not using it.

Double Heat Sinks fell out of production after the Star League fell and by the end of the First Succession War there production Just didn’t happen with even the equipment to reproduce them even being gone. Only Comstar still could make them and the Clans weren’t even a thought yet.
Yep! Also explained how the Dragoons did so well for the longest time, unit member qualities entirely aside - they had a basically neverending source of LosTech, so long as they kept it on the down-low. Kerensky running around in a Warhammer with double heat sinks? No wonder she was unstoppable!
