Hey everyone!

GalaCon is approaching closer and closer and to be prepared for it, I am currently working on FanArt pieces of MLP characters to offer for sale at the Convention! Yes, I will be a vendor at GalaCon and some traditional art pieces, posters and prints are waiting for good new homes! Just like this warm and cute little Tempest here^^

I realized I drew her too rarely and wanted to give it another go - especially since I like her colours and knew that it’s gonna be a challenge to capture them correctly with Brushmarkers. I was correct since I had to work over her fur multiple times to finally get the colour I wanted to go for. So much layering of ink! But I think it was worth it in the end^^ I really like the outcome! :D I wanted to show her after her redemption in the MLP Movie from 2017 and since we saw her shoot firework at the big party, I gave her a little bit of firework in the background to be remeniscent of that scene!

I truly hope you like this drawing and maybe we’ll see each other at GalaCon!

refried sans lard

A character that seems to have been kind of forgotten but I really like her, and even relate to her in some ways. I think it was a bold step for MLP to introduce a pony that was both physically and emotionally damaged. It’s so easy to make fairy tale characters black or white. Honestly though, with those colors it was challenging for me to take her seriously as a villain. It always satisfying to see art like this where she seems to finally be at peace.
