Yeah that’s how I saw it in the episode but I guess this framing makes it look a little more dubious.
You are certainly correct about that. Fluttershy has always been good with animals, and here Fluttershy could simply be interested in the fact that Spike is a dragon, a creature that she would certainly not see much of around Ponyville.
Maybe it’s not a romance thing to Fluttershy. She really likes animals after all. :P
they do ahve some interesting twists on magic too.
Uh- well to be fair when its a kid having a crush on an adult then its more normal. An adult being like that about a kid uh… well… I would call the authorities.
