I personally block it because they are generally translation of some other thing, and I find them to be less than good or useful.
This is exactly why of 18 tags I’m filtering, seven of them are language related.
Spanish, finnish, german, russian, chile, portugese and spurdo.
Six of them are profilic but completely shit artists. Then there’s Celestias Servant Interivew, AKA stupid walls of text in picture form, Adventure in the Comments for obnoxious spamming the fuck out of said comments with horrendous “roleplaying” and Blingee. And Tapeworm for when people kept spamming unrelated to pony images of … yeah.
Because there was a time when spanish images almost flooded Derpibooru.
I’ve filtered that tag too. I guess I can remove it from my black list now, but whatever.
Some people get annoyed by Spanish because they can’t read it.

That is also a thing that we want to do.
Developing a thing like this over one’s free time while having a stressful job with plenty of overtime isn’t that easy, and there are priorities when there is time.
However, it is fairly complex and requires substantial changes to the site. We’ve been bopping simpler things on the head for now. We might be able to get around to this in the nearish future.
Also, we need some sort of competition for who can then come up with the most complicated and convoluted filter that basically just filters out ONE thing.
With AND, OR and NOT (here as ‘-’, because it works too) you can get pretty much anything you want, methinks.
Oh, in that case there should be the reverse as well. Like if we didn’t want to see images that have both RD and Gilda, for example.
I don’t know if it would work, though.
That’s the thing - it filters out everything that is Explicit OC, UNLESS it contains artist:the weaver.
