Yeah, considering the out-of-character-ness of this image, this might as well be true.

More accurately Cadance isn’t her mother, Chrysalis is. Shining is a unicorn, Cadence was born a unicorn. Flurry is a born alicorn, something unprecedented, so either she’s a 1 in a 1,000,000,000,000 mutant, or she’s not quite fully pony. The only race with 100% alicornness is changelings. Chrysalis has full access to him for an unknown length of time in the form of his fiance. Changelings are extreme fertile, so it’s fully possible that even if Chrysalis only got to mate him only just once, that she ended up pregnant from it. Fast forward many months, and there’s the revelation Cadance and Shining are expecting… BUUUUUUT… Cadance doesn’t look the least bit pregnant! We know from the S5 finale it’s easy to break into a changeling hive, so, what happened was Chrysalis impersonate Cadance, spermjacked Shining, Shining got the child back, and passed it off as his and Cadence’s own.

So I guess Flurry Heart isn’t Shining Armor’s daughter since she is an alicorn but Shining Armor is a unicorn?
