You’re kidding right? Sonic the Hedgehog’s defining character trait in the games is how he doesn’t show off or criticize.
 
Sure, he’s more than willing to make fun of Eggman and crack jokes at his expense, but that’s really more out of a general sense of fun than genuine arrogance. Sonic doesn’t really want anything out of life other than to protect his friends and do what he feels is the right thing.
 
This is arguably the biggest difference in character between him and Rainbow Dash. If Dash lost a race to Sonic, she’d feel humiliated or possibly even outraged. If Sonic lost, he’d be “eh, whatever.”

Ichigo is sandwiched between his fiery will and those burning buns. Aizen couldn’t have planned this, too wild, unpredictable, and hot to the touch.

Basically, he was challenged to eat the “Four Horseman” burger: a Burger with slices of Jalapenos, chopped serrano peppers, habanero sauce, and Ghost pepper chunks (The hottest burger in existance.) He has to eat it in 25 minutes and then wait 5 minutes afterwards without throwing up or drinking anything to win the challenge.

uhhh….explanation…i need one (right now bleach is on a flashback arc about ichigo parents.)

That’s kinda his character, though. He’s saved the world enough times to have pretty much infinite bragging rights, so he takes full advantage of that.
 
Han Solo, Joey from Friends, Dexter (the killer, not the science kid, but he’s sorta ego-centric too), Captain Kirk, Jonny Bravo, Quagmire, James Bond, Dirty Harry (and by extention, anyone played by Clint Eastwood), Austin Powers, Basil Faulty, Ash from Evil Dead, Ash from Pokemon sometimes (often overshadowed by Gark Oak’s massive ego), Donny (the Big Labowski), Raphael the Ninja Turtle, Donald Duck, Daffy Duck, Stewie from Family Guy, Stan from American Dad, Bender from Futurama, Brain from Pinky and the Brain, Cartman from South Park…
 
All these guys are just as ego-centric as Sonic, most of them haven’t even saved the world once! Give the blue guy a break. Heck, some are villains, but still we love to watch them. :P

I think nostalgia has a lot to do with it. That and he was one of the first “dudes with a ‘tude” so it’s… kinda more acceptable sorta when he’s a dick?

I don’t watch enough anime to know what the fuck is going on here.
 
I do know, though, that at his most incomprehensible, Terry’s stuff is 10x better than any crossovers from Cartuneslover.
