Oh no, hope he doesn’t get the Hourai Elixir immortality (from Touhou, 3 known girls there are like this, the abosolutely unkillable) treatment, wait… Discord is only biologically immortal, while HE can still die by fading away or physically injured.

The show outright said he used to be an immortal despot. Alicorns were never mentioned to be immortal; that was a fanon thing, even after age magic was introduced.
And if they were immortal, you’d think they’d mention that to Shining when he married Cadance.
That’s going to add up fast…

All evidence points towards Discord being the only truly immortal being right now, even in G5. In his first appearance of G4 he mentioned being alive ‘eons’. One eon is half a billion years, at least according to its use in geology and astronomy.
