Images Macros, IDW comic panels and official artwork is included in the “Artwork” or “Captioned images” categories (without intersection with “Junk” tags) and constitute about 2% of that content.
That means 23.5% of images right now are broadly NSFW, with only 12.5% of them being outright pornographic, which is in fact roughly comparable to the internet in general. People are alike all over.

Haha. In fairness it deserves its own category (along with screencap edits and official artwork), but I didn’t want to dilute the data any further.

I colored them green to avoid just that. They are “Art”, obviously, but not “Artwork” (typically meaning paintings, drawings, photos and so on).
@Nightweaver20xx
And this is a rather harsh estimate, too. Some of the “Junk” tags could still have something worthwhile in them.
We tend to notice negative things a lot more. This is part of how many fandoms - including this one - come to be viewed in bad light despite having a scant few examples of it to offer. (The other part being that people don’t like things that are different.)
Tag filtering is a godsend. I have about 100 tags on my blacklist myself.
I honestly really don’t get the DB obsession with ducks.
But yes.
You cannot destroy such a bountiful harvest.
what a filthy casual
errybody knows you ship ducks in barrels
do you even duck bro
Even if this farmland’s export includes a bucketload of ducks?
Killing the MLP fandom would be less of an honorable death, but more like ecoterrorism.
It’s like destroying fruitful farmland.
most of it is NSFW
At the moment, with all filters off:
safe: 515839
explicit: 64754
questionable: 27300
suggestive: 29281

@aperture_tech
Drama is incredibly important

It does include NSFW. All 9,3% of it, as Vladimir pointed out.
@aperture_tech
Some days you have to choose between survival and an honorable death.
You want this fandom to survive?
Drama is incredibly important.
Nope. >>730750 (deleted)

I just don’t get why Cosplay is lumped with screencaps and not with plushies.

@PonyPon
90% or more. Color me a naive optimist.
That’s a bit rude…
With a few simple filters, it’ll climb well over 90%, too.
