Backstory:
Apple is a hard working independent pony that strives the keep her family safe and secured. If you ask her, she can name every family member in her family tree. She had a rough past, her granny could not afford to allow her and her siblings to have a childhood. She was planned to move to Manehattan with her aunt but she refused and made a promise to help her granny with the farm. Aj still stands by that promise today, she continues to heavily provide for her family even if they are still poor. Aj lives a happy life and has said that she will keep providing for her farm even if it kills her.
