For crying out loud, can you stop talking in such complicated language? I am no farmer, okay? I am also not a rocket scientist or adept in any way in the various sciences. To put it bluntly, I cannot understand what you are saying at all.

Also, you expect ponies to have the same tech as humans, which baffles me since they definitely do not (at least not at the time of G4). The highest tech they have are horse-drawn carriages and early 1900s era cameras. So knowing that I can say that computers aren’t even a concept in G4, only coming into fruition during the 100+ year gap between G4 and G5. As such, farmers during that time period wouldn’t use analytics to understand how to plant crops.

So for the last time, please drop this!

it is a misconception however common or uncommon that the agricultural laborers are as dumb as the soil that they work. a blanket statement is very difficult to have facts and evidence support it. even if an agricultural laborer isn’t engaged and rocket science nevertheless they can still perform tasks and observe results in the quest for better quality produce. such tests like fertilizer or soil types the best amount of water without over watering their crop. not to mention is Apple blooms exposure to Twilight Twilight and Twilight’s intelligence. therefore it is not improbable that Apple Bloom might have overheard Twilight using such words and even if Apple Bloom didn’t understand the words that she was saying for what they meant nevertheless she would be capable of repeating those words and understanding someone that they dealt with the agricultural operations at Sweet Apple Acres. and it isn’t as if Apple Bloom couldn’t simply ask Twilight what the words that she was overhearing meant and then therefore be capable of using those words in the proper context once she understood what those words mean.

With the way you worded that it sounds like you believe Apple Bloom to have a college-level intellect. I highly doubt that, based on what I have seen of her in FiM.

Also, I could hardly understand a single word of what you were saying myself, and I am 24. I know zip about ‘soil aeration’, ‘water tables’ or any other mumbo-jumbo that came out of your mouth. So if I can’t understand it, I doubt a filly could.

she probably made a case for how the computer could centralize their records, how it could also organize and chart or graph various data points in order to determine what or how to maximize important stuff like soil aeration, water tables, crop yield data, and current and anticipated future crop market prices.
