That’s fair I guess. Every show tends to get weaker by the end, it’s just a case of them ending before any rot can fully set in, and appreciating the good they can still produce. I might be irritated at some things with MLP, but I can still easily argue that there were far more good episodes than mishandled ones. It’s just a shame some fans like those you describe don’t take the time to judge them one episode or idea at a time.
I know. And I actually agree with you about how the show gave us all of these themes and ideas. Its just that I’ve been hanging around some jerks who have become so desensitized with the latter half of FiM that its starting to affect me.
I’d say that’s rather unfair to the writers, as I quite liked a lot of what the show came up with as themes and ideas. It’s just one bit that could have been curious to explore.
But this would mean the writers would have to make deep thinking about the show they work for, and only fat sweaty unemployed losers like bronies can do that!
This is from an issue where tourists and journalists are affecting the ecosystem of an endangered creature that’s not confirmed to exist, so AJ is faced with the moral dilemma of whether it’s okay to lie about said creature’s existence to protect its home. AJ blurts out the above in frustration. This issue, like most of the comics, is quite good.
Cuz frankly Dash isn’t especially loyal (she’s frankly the most free-spirited and individualistic of the bunch) but she IS outspoken and inconsiderate
