Skywishes is a girly girl pony character from the G3 franchise. She’s from Dancing in the Clouds, and Friends are never Far Away. She tends to ramble on at times, often ending with “oh you know what I mean”. Additionally, she helps grant wishes for others and believes in the folklore regarding kites being wish catchers.

When all the stars come out at night, SKYWISHES makes a wish on every single one! Mostly she wishes for good things for her friends, but she has a special wish of her own too - she wants to be the best dancer in Ponyville! It’ll take a lot of practice, but SKYWISHES knows that dreams really can come true! - Skywishes’ backcard story from the back of her toy’s box.

Skywishes is hot pink with violet and magenta hair. Her eyes are green and her cutie mark is a green and sunshine yellow kite with violet bows on the tail and a similarly colored butterfly. She first appears in “Dancing in the Clouds” attempting to make one of her usual helping wishes after learning of Twinkle Twirl’s problem. Later, she’s among the ponies flying around the room with the help fo Star Catcher’s butterflies. Skywishes is also one of 5 possible ponies to perform in the “Dance Studio” online game and the “Best Friends Ball” PC game as a playable character. In “Friends Are Never Far Away”, she and Pinkie Pie help get Star Catcher’s friends to come out from hiding, only to find themselves getting rescued by them. Eventually, they’re all successful and have a great party. She later makes a cameo or two in “A Very Minty Christmas”, most notably during Minty’s song “Nothin’ Says Christmas Like a Pair of Socks” where she can be seen giggling in a circle with others. In “The Princess Promenade”, she’s seen among the crowd when Wysteria introduces Spike to the ponies. She’s later seen putting perfume on her face along with Rainbow Dash and Peachy Pie during A Princess is in Town. She also appears in “Pinkie Pie and the Ladybug Jamboree” as part of Pinkie Pie’s band, but that might actually be an error of the short. She is voiced by Saffron Henderson.

Skywishes has had a bit of merchandise but not as much despite her two prominent roles in the G3 movies.
