Looks like the artist didn’t know how to write in Katakana, so they just put the phrase “Flutter shy” through Google Translate. “Flutter” got Katakana-ized as “Furattaa”, while “shy” got translated as “Uchikina”. GT actually reversed the word order and put the “uchikina” first, but the artist either tried to re-reverse it or just didn’t know how Japanese vertical writing works (most likely the latter, since that wasn’t the only mistake - the “ー” is supposed to be vertical in vertical writing). I’m probably the only person around here who finds all of this hilarious, but whatevs.
Now I’m left wondering who’s the bigger weeaboo - the artist for having put some gratuitous Japanese into their art without knowing how it works, or yours truly here for having said nothing about the picture other than petty nitpicking about a tiny bit of Japanese text in the corner…

It happens to us all…

Whatever she’s saying, I don’t understand it. So I made something up.
but, she’s not speaking french….looks like Japanese to me (don’t hit me if I’m wrong)
Disclaimer: I speak English fluently, and I remember enough high school French to get into trouble. That’s it.
