A lot of people don’t like the tapioca balls, so you’re not alone. You can easily ask for bubble tea without the balls (which is smart as you get more tea for your money).
Is it bad to say that the fact that those little balls in bubble tea are what prevent me from drinking it? I know it’s stupid, but it just sounds so weird to me. And I’d be the idiot who’d choke on a ball.

They’re really slippery so they just go down your throat easily, you don’t really need to chew them before swallowing.

Bubble tea has these little black slippery tapioca balls that you suck through an extra-wide straw. Their fairly tasteless but their fun to eat with the tea.
