This isn’t your Ask Blog, though. This is an image hosting site. Your ‘Canon’ behind the image is hardly relevant. Since you’re putting Ditzy in the images now tells me you’re trying to force the relevance, and since the drama keeps happening, you do it on purpose for that reaction.

Thing is, I’m not the one who starts all the arguments on my art??? It’s the people who can’t accept that I have a different opinion. I just reply because I’m not the sort of person who just sits and has stuff thrown at them thanks. I’m an opinionated person, but I’ve said in the past and even in one of these threads, I literally don’t give two fucks about what anyone else considers canon, what anyone else wants to call her, I DO care when people step on my right to have an opinion and use a different name.  
I don’t call her DItzy to get drama. I call her Ditzy because that’s what I want to call her, and whenever I draw her (unless for commission) it’s the Ditzy from my ask blog canon, where she’s called, gasp Ditzy.  
Trust me, I’d love it if I could just post my art here without an argument spewing forth every time, but one of you seems to have a grudge against me, and I’m not taking it lying down<3

Yeah i’m pretty sure that started as a ‘rebellion for the sake of rebellion’ thing like every other piece of fanon crap that comes out sorely of tumblr. But at least the muslimshy people aren’t obnoxiously confrontational about it, I mean have you even noticed it’s ONLY Twilight these explosions occur with? There’s a pretty goddamn good reason for it, and it doesn’t have anything to do with the complainers.

see, that’s the thing I’m getting at with the above. It was always an option to simply say something like “I don’t like Derpy because it sounds too silly even for her so I prefer this random other name” and be done with it, but it seems you thrive on conflict and have to bring out these false objections and half-truths specifically to get the kind of responses you want so you can point at everyone else in the fandom and go ‘see look, I told you they were meanie poopyheads!” You say all this other bullshit like her being uncanon specifically to justify continued conflict and wounded gazellings
 
The intellectual dishonesty is quite frankly one of the most disgusting things I’ve seen on this site, and we have bonafide fucking NAZIS like Niggo, Crispy, and Sidor running around the place. It takes a lot of work to share the same space in negative opinion.

@CloSeph only Canon I accept as being real canon is Hasbro canon. As in the actual show, Hasbro brand merch (so not Funko, WeLoveFine etc.). You can accept whichever canon you want, but to me, that isn’t canon :3

In canonization a cast member of Project Friendship has a name. Her name is Derpy Hooves.

We don’t care so much about having one name as much as that the most popular name is present; I for one prefer Golden Harvest over Carrot Top, but tag both because I know people search for (and filter, I guess) Carrot Top.
 
Ideally we would have all popular fanon and toy-canon names tagged, but that can get extremely unwieldy for group shots and the like, where name tags can triple or more in number. Someday hopefully we might have a way to differentiate and group tags by what they are.

The reason that they have that is because it’s easier for people to find things. If this picture weren’t tagged with two names, barely would find it when looking for it since the name is not in widespread use anymore.

The main reason it’s not used as often here is because the mods seem to prefer to have one name per character, but you were there when I had the chat with them that said I can use the tag.
