But Capper did not betray the Mane Six because after the Mane Six and Spike learned about Capper’s true intentions, the Abyssinian escapee felt remorseful and guilty about this remembering the beginning of his friendship with the Mane Six and Spike. And also, Discord is still held a prisoner/slave of the Storm King back in Equestria during the Storm King’s conquest of Equestria.

I agree wholeheartedly and then maybe after capper reforms, he still has some traits of before he reformed and it’s a situation were discord is like hey back off no one trolls my friend I care about but me lol

If you think about it, despite their differences and exhasperation, Discord always showcased a begrudging respect for Twlight. I like to think the moment Capper tries to betray them, destruction ensues.
