DM: No, you’re not going to end up in an “unwinnable” state because of this. This isn’t a “gotcha.” It’s just… dramatic.
Twilight Sparkle: Phew. Thanks for the clarification.

Twilight Sparkle: So… do we have to give them the whole jewelry pieces, or do the gemstones just pop out?
DM: Well, technically the gold is also– Nevermind. Long story short, the gemstones are the important part, and they can be removed.
Rarity: Do we get to keep the gold?
DM: They’ll disappear.
Rarity: Drat.
DM: The balloon, the bolt, the diamond, the butterfly, and the apple all float around you. All that’s left is the star atop your head.
