I know these are all Canadians, but it’s crazy how Jenna Warren and JJ Gerber look the most like Canadians, the rest I would confuse for Americans.

That would be convincing but I’m only aware of Bahia using it in one very excited but not authoritative sounding tweet.

Again not how that works. If they were gonna do that they wouldn’t give her a fake last name (also her official last name being something she chose as opposed to being given to her is a narrative thing), doubly so if they didnt have merch for her yet. (Also everyone on the team uses her full misty brightdawn name, and they are far, far deeper into the production so its obv the one that will stick. Plus they wouldnt use the name that was temp)

I sure hope they have fun voicing these characters. :3

They could be planning a story where she discovers her true family name. Right now is there even merchandise of Misty? There’s nothing that officially locks down her name yet.

Err… thats not how that works. The whole reason why she has a last name is so they can copyright her, since they can’t copyright just “Misty” for obv reasons. And there would be no point to introduce a last name for a bit only for them to go back on it, esp since it would mess even more with merchandizing and copyright

It’s not 100%. Misty clearly made up the name “Brightdawn” on the spot. Bahia Watson called her that in a tweet. That’s all we have so far. I can see Bahia just going with it for now while the writers/marketers come up with something else.
