Well, to be fair, said 90’s computer did cost something like $1200 in 90’s value dollars. And with the rate at which technology improves, having a 10 year old computer doesn’t really help you at all.
I don’t know about you, but I don’t like having to buy a new computer when I need to get updates.
You can’t say that strategy didn’t work.
Because Apple decided the best way to make money was to shit all over compatibility.
Best computer I ever owned was a Power Mac, a hybrid of the two systems back in the 90s. The ease of use and ability to play games of a Windows, with the graphics programs and virus immunity of a mac.
I’m almost absolutely certain it still works, too, despite being over a decade old. The laserjet grayscale printer it came with printed well over 30,000 pages without any problems.
Why can’t they build ’em like they used to? :<
Haha, it’s funny because Apple computers aren’t user-friendly.
Well hey, Macintosh pony. What do you want to do?
“… do?”
